Spotted the other day in Kmart some new (to Australia/my local store) Our Generation outfits, including "Cute to Scoot"
Well on Thursday we went back to the same shopping centre, and whilst I was inside
Miriam was outside hoping to take advantage of the large cemented pathway
except for the rules she would have any
hmm, I'm sure the sign did not say anything about Scooting
I had to go to work, so she did not get the chance at that time to try the new wheels.
the set includes a skirt, a shirt, a pair of shoes, a visor, a scooter and an iceblock
This Our Generation outfit didn't have those nasty plastic "H" thingys, it had string, and plastic zip ties, it did take some effort to get the articles free, but I guess as the package is mostly open air they don't want it to be easily tampered with. The packaging was a little too well secured, I ripped it some.
the scooter - what inspired me to buy this set. It comes with the handlebar/front wheel folded
but very easily opens
and clicks securely into place
there is a switch to release it, this is fairly tight
The scooter is great size for an American Girl

(it's a bit cold)
These shoes are hard plastic, little to no give
The t-shirt is definitely summer weight, and very see through in my opinion, the blue stripes almost look like lace
the visor has no shading, so is more like a headband with a peak
But it all fits
shes wearing a vest
the pink skirt has a gauzey white lining
Brrrr, it's way too cold to scoot at the moment
here have a nice warm cup of tea
