Merry Xmas

I can't post pictures on this blog, so if you just want a greeting, there it is.

If you want to know what happened for Xmas in the doll room, I've got a new blog "When all else fails a little doll will do it".

Merry Xmas.

Does it mean I don't believe?

Yesterday I had almost resigned to be waiting for an Xmas miracle. Today I thought I'd take it into my own hands. It would seem I need to blog with pictures, need as in its important to me and something I like to do, frequently, and helps with my doll play, and I wanted to be posting about Xmas now while it still is Xmas.
So, I have created a new blog, and it's working for now (yippee).
If anyone is interested it's called "When all else fails a little doll will do it", and is under the URL dollylifesaver.blogspot.com.au
It's new but the content will be similar to what has been here.
So does it mean I don't believe santa would have brought me what I wanted for Xmas? There are some things even beyond his ability.

The eighteenth day of stressed much.

Phew, I thought I'd lost the ability to post at all. So well December 18, words but no pictures, and well if a pictures worth a thousand words it just goes to show how lazy I am.
So hopefully santa will bring something to fix this, hahaha, and I was worrying about the mailman bringing me the post on time.

Um

I will probably think myself mad later when trying to get this home, but for now it's bagsed in the lay by warehouse at kmart. Unfortunately for the shop assistants this is huge this is heavy and their warehouse is upstairs.

On the Tenth Day of Stressed Much.

On the tenth day of Stressed Much I thought I'd better finish some assembly.

These little gift boxes were found on eBay. I ordered white. I think they were called Laser Cut Candy boxes. And came in a couple of pretty pale shades and red and a few different designs. This one was xmasy. (Sleighs and snowflakes is Xmas in my mind, that's why we do Xmas in July to get the cold experience).

I'm not sure if they are cardboard or something slightly plastic. They are maybe as thick as two sheets of paper so they hold their shape fairly well. The cutout is a little fragile so I used a ruler to assist with bending where required.

Fold all the edges in, and the tabs on the top out

Slot the open sides together

The bottom tabs

And with organza ribbon (that were supplied with the boxes)

Feed it through the slits in the top

I bought some organza bags , in the shade of palest green

For the jewellery to go in

For the bag to go in the box

A tag to identify the gifted

Tie the ribbon

Go oooo that's pretty

For the twins

To put round their flat.
