I left the girls at the hotel and caught the pink trolley down to the Hilton Hawaiian Village. At some point in time I had planned to write a novel, even did most of a draft, and one of the locations was going to be this hotel and my imagination. I had to see it for myself.
I think one of the things I did not expect was how many people there would be, not just here - everywhere, except for some parts of the east coast. I also did not think that all the buildings would be so close together, nor that the island was really quite so big, now I know.
