Beaches in Newcastle were closed for 10 straight days due to shark sightings.
The Great White Shark is a protected species, so bathers just had to stay away.
Hanalei has lived near the water all her life, and just needed to find some swimmable water somewhere. A pool in the garden, sounds nice, but it had a big hole in it. No water here.
A pool in the fox cage, whats that sand? A beach? Whats it used for, oh, no thanks I'm not swimming in that (it is the boys toilet tray).
They do have a deep water dish, but your safety is as risky in there if not more so than the shark at the beaches.
