Nanoblock's, Bengal Tiger

Nanoblock, by Kawada in Japan (made in Thailand)
micro sized building blocks

"The Smaller it is, the more realistic the work becomes!"

In a zip lock bag, A Bengal Tiger, over 160 pieces

The instruction sheet

easy enough to follow

but the pieces are tiny - thats one bag of them on my ginormous hand

"nanoblock is an extremely small building block.
The Smallest part is a mere 4x4x5mm!
This amazingly small micro sized block makes it possible
to create more detailed and even smaller projects than
what can be made with standard sized blocks.
nanoblock is a stimulating and entertaining hobby
material for everybody, especially grown-ups"

these were the bags of pieces. we sat on a rug outside and decided it best to do this in the middle of said rug to reduce the risk of losing pieces in the grass. We decided to just open each bag, and leave the pieces inside until we needed them

Each step lists the pieces that are to be used, and the drawings are sufficient to assist with the process. I would say that it is more difficult than the 7-14 suggested age group on the Lego Ship we built a couple of weeks ago, where there were maybe up to 5 pieces at a time, and therefore over 100 pages of instructions. This tiger is built in layers. The previous layers are faded in colour to help distinguish. Nanoblock also suggest using a pair of nanoblock tweezers to help with the build process, that would have been a good idea if I'd read it earlier, but anywho, Maddie's fingers are smaller so she had no problem. We would also recommend a hard surface would have made the building a little easier as well. The individual pieces are very sturdy, the structure a little less so, again my big clodhopper hands didn't help (we kept losing legs and the tail)

Rarrrrr

some spare parts

and it all fits back in the bag

In my opinion this is a size comparison to an equivalent Lego (left) piece
