Someone Like Me part 2

So with a friend for Emily in mind I went back to the Australian Girl website. It was not my intent to make Emily a twin, so a second Emily was not an option. Jasmine and Amy were on back order, Matilda was out of Stock and Annabelle who is available comes in a swimsuit. I've been to a couple of op shops lately, so I did have a few small baby items that could accommodate the need for a winter outfit. Em herself is currently in a onesie, a pair of socks and a slightly oversized pink teddy bear jumper.  I did make contact by email with Australian Girl, and after some very helpful advice a couple of weeks later a note came. 

So Thursday morning, with a couple of the bigger girls who were going out for big girl things, Emily came along as we were expecting someone at the Post Office

Emily had gone with Phillippa to the Build A Bear workshop back on May 25 and bought the little lamb for a new friend.

Sunrise had been within the last half hour

and the Post Office had just opened

oooh, heavy

haa, made it. A new friend can take a lot of effort. We can do lots of things together, like lying down

and standing up. Hoh, what if she's on her head?

Em had to wait until we got home that night,to greet her new friend properly.

Yay, we had her up the right way
