Testing Journey girls things, part 3, the Hair Stylin' Studio

The Hair Stylin' Studio.
Our Kmarts (Australia) have the Our Generation chair, but it is really high.

The Journey girls chair is just right, for the actual dolls to be the hair stylists, without having to stand on a stool for height.

Chavonne, sits nicely, except of course as her knees are not articulated

and the seat can swivel round, it looks more like she's having a ride on a spinning chair

lucky there's a seat belt

weeeeeeeee
The back of the seat also tilts

there is also a height increaser lever,

and a button to release the height, gently, eventually

Down

Up

The seat belt can be adjusted

to fit the slightly larger American Girls, the velcro "buckle"

I'll just give you a trim, then we'll wash and blow dry

Whilst a little chunky for the dolls hands, the hair drier has a button, that pushes in

and releases

and a little thingy on the inside creates the slightest slightiest slight breeze (practically none)
but saves electricity cos you don't plug it in (just go outside on a windy day its quicker)

a cover to prevent wetting clothes or getting hair down the back of your shirt, fits nicely on Chavonne

and a little chokey on Mercedes

velcro down the back

and roomy enough to go over the back rest of the chair

some tools of trade - scissors, and a ? bottle
the scissors are do not have a real cutting edge so no risk to little fingers, or dolly hair (I tried)

hair bands - alot sturdier than the American Girl ones I got with the Coconut Pajamas

some hairdresser hair clips, a big pink bow

some coloured hair extensions

on a clip, that took me a while to work out how to use it

press it in the centre to open the mouth

effect lost some on curly hair

but there you go

Meh
