Journey girls pjs.

I like these little bag tag pictures. I keep them and put them in one of the paper diaries I keep. 

I forgot to mention on the previous entry about a JG outfit, that it only had two evil teensy plastic H's - one for each sleeve, a plastic body form that is taped to the box = no damage to the outfit, two really long clear rubber bands holding the shoes in and a plastic loop holding down the bag ( sung to the tune of the 12 days if Xmas). 42 sleeps to go. No 41. Must check my list (hoho). 

Any way, 2nd verse same as the first, this outfit has, oh the disappointment, 20 annoying mostly tiny plastic H's, ah! And I was going to start my praises, dashed I tell you. 

I've suddenly become overly daramtc ha! Auto spell correct didn't get that one now did it. 

I think I've been watching too many 3am grav3yardgirl YouTube videos. She's so funny, is mimicry flattering or just creepy?

Yep I'm back , how boring. 

There was a plastic body form but it was held into the box with part of the 20 count. The little slippers had a cond of silence of their own no H's attached (yay) they do feel a bit like the furry side of Velcro. 

So after removing the otherwise of those flowering H's....

Ah I think there another digging into my back.

We have a gray tank top with white lace edge and a pink heart pillow, white spotted pastel green lace bottom pants, ugly grey slippers, a pink eye mask for dollies with no eyelids

A pyjama shirt for cooler nights with a Velcro closure and buttons to make it look complete. I wish they'd done that to the previous outfit, even the stitching looks nice. 

Maddie looks great , but no grey slippers for her. 

Journey girls outfit

The 3/4 sleeve light weight jumper is lined with that white mesh material JG use, same with the slim not for American Girl butts fit pants. 

Super huge black boots, maplelea Leonie  can wear these, if they weren't so ugly. 

The shirt is velcroed down the front with the massive zig zag stitching JG likes to use. 

Could be imagined to be a ruffle?

And the cuffs are open almost to the elbows which helps if you want to roll the sleeves for a different look. 

I wonder if this outfit could be worn by a boy boy?

Maybe

Maybe not. 

Andy doesn't have much butt so the pants fall down if you aren't careful. Maddie has a curvier figure so it supports the pants better

Ooh I like that on Maddie, girls outfit it is. 

Maplelea Leonie, she's wearing an Our Generation dress with a lace vest (part of same set) the shoes did not fit her longer feet. The JG boots though, no problem. 

The pants too small, the shirt a little tight across her back, but this looks ok. 

Journey girls outfit.

Comes with 2 very long clear rubber bands (holding the shoes in the box). I have a little baggy of such bands - good for assisting dolls in holding things, without staining their vinyl (from experience). 

Shocked and horrified I was to find only 5  teeny tiny damn you plastic H's securing the outfit to the backing

(That's my thumb). There were 3 on the beanie and 1 on each sleeve, otherwise (excuse me while I move away from the window we're in a thunder storm) the outfit is on this clear plastic body form

Mm, summer storms in November. As long as we don't lose power, I'm blogging by phone using wifi - and it needs the juice. 

So , ooh I do have a journey girl nearby to try it on, and see it fit in the picture does it fit the actual doll?

The black tights are lined, I guess to help prevent colour transfer - good thinking, it does make the pants feel thicker so I'd put these in the cooler weather pile. And the storm is gone, back to humid. 

Slim fit for dolls with no butt, so my AG clan miss out. Maddie (BFC ink) should be ok though)

Ugly boots. 

 Slim fit dressy shirt. Like this - main reason for purchase. 

Infinity scarf with Velcro closure in grey Tshirt material  and a beanie I thought was black but might be that shade of blue also Tshirt material that is no way gonna fit over taryn's curls. 

Maddie. 

The shoes are too big. 

You've got way cooler BJD boots, so don't worry about that. The outfit is a loose fit, but the pants stay up and the shirt looks great. The beanie is a little small, the scarf could be used as a headband. 

Journey girls new things

Popped into tRU today and always like to check for new things. 

TRU kotara Australia. 

The jg loft bed the color scheme has changed, the desk chair looks like a swivel chair, and the ladder now looks like it hooks over a cut away portion of the bunk bed side. 

Love this outfit- well the knitted jumper with the Lacey skirt. I'm sure that JGKelsey has given a great review on this over on her blog. Hopefully I can add it to my collection. 

This was another new item I'd not seen before. Nautical theme. 

Journey Girls Storage Tower

The Journey Girls Storage Tower has arrived in Toys'r'us Australia, well at my nearest one anyway, and looks like something I might like.

It comes ready assembled, which is a shame cos I like to make things.
So, onto my wish list it goes, I think it scanned at $50 (Australian).
My Toys'r'us are definitely making an effort to stock the Journey Girls line, it is almost the whole side of one aisle now, and stocked up to the ceiling.

I haven't decided whether Giovanna will join my collection. I like the outfit and the earrings. I guess she's not what I expected for an Italian, and from JGKelsey's pics, it is possible that she isn't, as she is  just holidaying in Italy.

Are Journey Girls culling their characters?

I visited Toys'r'us yesterday, cos I like to and saw this

Journey girls Alana (is that a new name) she has an additional outfit in her box, hmm there was something behind the journey girls logo, that I managed not to take a picture of

what are they up to? All the other boxes/packaging still refer to the above lineup (the originals were slightly different) ah, was Kyla originally Alana? hmmm me thinks so , in the days when 

Chavonne was darker or should we say Taryn existed, moowahaha, I have evidence, I keep diaries, August 12 2012 I started my JG diary and these are the pictures I saved off the boxes for Callie and Taryn...

hopefully the bathrobe/dressing gown is not made of the same type of  material as the one in the Spa essentials set, it wasn't nice, bit like wearing velcro fuzz
