A day at the Pictures, breakfast, a church and a toyshop

So Cinderella and the Fairy Godmother with a Chocolate Pudding got to go for a ride in the car.

It was so early that we stopped on the way for some breakfast. The easiest place is often a McDonalds, 

and even with that stop, and a further stop at the supermarket for some snacks for Ron we were early. (Ron as in later on, not the cat). The Cinema did not open for another half hour, so we went for a walk.

We found a stone called Ebenezer. Is it normal for a foundation stone to have a name? and to be sitting a good metre and a half up a wall? I don't know. It had been there since 1922 according to the engraving.  Trinity was also mentioned on the stone and was quite chuffed. (I did not intentionally name her with any religious intent, it just sounded like a nice name. I know my mother (a christian) was a little taken aback when I told her the name I'd used (and that is a whole other story (not all christians believe in the 'Trinity').).

The girls and Pudding found a seat in the garden just past Ebenezer

The flowers on the hedge had a beautiful smell.

Pudding found a spider (its to the right of the door)

The gates were locked

but Pudding slipped under them.

Pudding come back.

Well, it seemed like fun to be a little bit naughty. The Maitland Post Office.

Are we getting Grace Thomas today?

Not today.

Wow, light shining down from heaven moment -  aaahhhh

We were also too early, it wasn't open yet to make sure. Actually there wasn't much open yet at all, so we walked up the mall a bit further, and back, with heaps of time to spare

and then back to the Cinema, hoping that because it was way off in the distance it would take a while

A day at the pictures, Disney's Cinderella

Disney's live action Cinderella was released in the US on the 13th of March 2015

Antoinette was very excited, but had to wait as it wasn't released

 in Australia until the 26th of March 2015.

Due to various things the first opportunity we had to go see it was today, Antoinette found the times last night

9.30am! can we do it? Please?

Yes, would you like to bring someone?

Yes.

Well you let me know who, and I'll see if they want to come.

Antoinette thought about it whilst sorting through her box of Polly Pockets.

Well there needs to be Cinderella, which secretly I wish was me, and well there needs to be Prince Charming, but there are no boys here, and there needs to be just a little bit of magic,  

I've worked out who I would like to invite.

Bad Hair Day

So, we were turning knee high human socks into AG tights

when ahh! disaster struck, and Mariana's hair fell off!

I have to admit the wig was a little too large, they recommend a size 10/11 for American Girls, this was bigger, so it didn't sit completely on her head, and I had brushed it and she'd had adventures in it and the fringe (bangs) was getting in her eyes alot and maybe the glue wasn't strong enough.  Anyway, it came off.

Hmmm

Maybe it was a sign that I should look for another for poor dear Mariana.

I do have a couple of wigs for various reasons, so we thought we'd try them on for size, style and colour..   

this had been worn by one of my BFC ink girls, and was a very snug fit on Mariana. By flashlight it is a very brilliant colour

morning did come and a little bit of sunshine, so we went outside.

A Rabbit has a birthday

I work in a large office, and it has a Social club. Each year some of the funds it raises goes toward spreading a little cheer, back to the staff.

This was last years rabbit, and it is now 1 year old,

(the original receiver did not like chocolate, and donated it to our team when they moved to another office. No one has been game to eat it, and it has become a mascot of sorts)
