So there you have it, an almost brand new me. I wonder if sand still feels the same between my new toes as my old ones. 

Catherine was tidying up and this fell out of my diary. 

Hey Maddie, this is on soon. Has Andy invited you?

He did, before I fell over.

Um, I'm not sure. It's all dressing up and dancing.

Andy came over a little while later.

Yes, and the whole heel toe heel toe thing with walking is so relaxing, not like the stomping thing I was doing before. 

Hahaha, some if us still do the stomping thing even with articulated ankles. Especially in high heels.

Alls well with the grey head flying foxes

1pm, Jason is with the native animal rescue in our area. The local flying fox colony needed to be checked on. 

Fortunately they are near a large pond, and have trees they hang in that provide some shelter. They fan themselves with their wings to help keep cool. 

Jason rang the coordinator to report the situation. On extremely hot days the local fire brigade will assist in water spraying the colony (safely) to help keep them cool. 

No problem today, and no fallen young or old yo take into care. 

I like the way I move.
