Tea at Nana's

We had been invited to Nana's for morning tea,

Antoinette had wanted to show off her new dress, even if she was wearing a skivvy under it, and stockings and pompomed furry boots.  Little Aussie Girl Emily and Pippa were coming too, especialy after realising that a visit to the Build a Bear Workshop was to be before hand

Merecedes was keen, as Peggy's Natasha was going to be there, and she wanted to catch up with her again. There was so much Maths and Science she wanted to talk about, or Science and Maths, depending on your preference.

Trinity wanted to meet Nana and Poppy. Antoinette added a layer, a little pink cardigan Nana had knitted a long time ago, Trinity wanted to meet someone so crafty.

All keen for a little outing

Front seat!

Back seat, all buckeled in.

Natasha's Peggy was having a birthday, and well
Peggy's Natasha got the present.  hehehehe a bicycle
Weeee, look Peggy no hands.

We had tea, and cake, and salmon sandwiches, and sat round the little barbecue to keep warm, and smokey. It was a really nice sunny day.

Monday, I had Teddies on my mind

'twas Monday, I had the day off, and had plotted a little excursion during business hours, hoping to be dolly laden, without being spotted by people I work with, despite them knowing I play with dolls,

Hey girls, I'm going to the Build A Bear Workshop today, do you want to come?

Mmm, aaaaa

YES please

Can I bring Horsey? I'd like to see if he will fit the Buddies outfits
Sure, no problem

Hey Mercedes we're going Teddy Shopping, do you want to come?
No, but if you see anything Harry Potter let me know
Ok.

I have a friend who's birthday is soon, Pippa, I will see if there is anything there they might like.
Teddy bears are a good choice.

Ooh what's that over there?

Oh no! It's a toy that has been left out, don't look Em, it's very distressing.

Did you do that ?

mmmmmm, chewy

you should be ashamed, oh that one has no legs, quick down the path

Looks like the remains of a bonfire,

It has been getting cool here

Front seat!

We're coming too

We had to go via the pet food store.  American Girl Emily and Coconut needed supplies

They met Rocky, the Basset Hound on the way out, he was a regular at the pet food store.

Pippa and Emily were eager to get to the Build A Bear Workshop, it had just hit 9am

Ahhhhh

Pippa's expertise in Teddy Bears was being sought by me

Bear skin rugs

You want at least 1 of everything

Horseys

Harleys

The stuffing machine, and Teddy hearts

Pippa was even allowed to help by standing on the stuffing machine pedal

Sunday, I've got Teddies on my mind

I was actually looking for a tea set, so I headed off to Big W (the variety store of our supermarket brand Woolworths, possibly our equivalent of Walmart, or so I've been told) thinking the last time I saw a teaset was there, a few years ago mind you.
Nup
All gone, maybe drinking tea isn't fashionable anymore, there was a coffee machine though
Not to worry, so I had a looksee around anyway

ah!
not quite 18", actually no where near, only 14", phew, no temptation to buy for the outfits

ooh, Teddies, Bear Boutique, maybe Big W's reply to Build a Bear.  There appears to be one bear, a white rabbit and a cream rabbit (cream is what the website is calling it, I was thinking apricot).  They come with an "Australian" passport, which looked like a personality portfolio, and there was a birth certificate.

the outfits are cute, there's a lady bug and a rabbit onesie that caught my eye (presumably the latter is for the bear not the rabbits - old four ears, and then I remembered that bears have ears, but then rabbits wearing rabbit ears, oh stop it you're just embarrassing yourself)

I forgot to measure them, of course the shoes would be too big for my dolls, but maybe my Ted, the lady bug would be cute on...

the bears/bunnies are $18 each and the outfits $9 (hehehe rabbits in rabbit onesies)

kind of cool, which makes me think more about visiting Build A Bear with purchase in mind..
I guess that is to be continued...
